Corners

What is it about corners that are so inviting? Corners lend themselves to being safe havens, whether being the observer at a party or cuddling up with a cup of tea or hot cocoa and reading a good book in your favorite chair. Corners are very alluring.
When designing or furnishing a room I've noticed people avoid putting anything in their corners! I like how my friend, fellow blogger, used the corner of her son's bedroom. It is both functional and eye-appealing. Doesn't it make you want to reach for a coloring book? I especially like the window treatments and the natural lighting.
